The Valencia CF initiative “ADN Mestalla Solidari” has reached 95 social organizations by supporting AMOH (Association for Breast, Ovarian and Hereditary Cancer) ahead of the Valencia CF–Villarreal CF match held on the 25th at the Camp de Mestalla.

Javier Solís, general director of Valencia CF, and Inma Ibáñez, director of the VCF Foundation, welcomed Marcelo Ruz, founder and secretary general of AMOH, and Lorena Pradas, a board member, to the Juan Sol Room. They presented them with an official club shirt bearing the slogan “AMOH · Women–Sport–Cancer.”

During the week of World Breast Cancer Awareness Day, on October 19, the club wanted to recognize AMOH’s work as a leading organization supporting patients with breast, gynecological and hereditary cancers, as well as people who carry a genetic mutation that may cause the disease. The club also sought to promote prevention and research.

Valencia CF and the VCF Foundation launched “ADN Mestalla Solidari” during the 2021–22 season to highlight, recognize and raise awareness of the invaluable work carried out by associations, organizations, institutions and NGOs based in Valencia or operating within the region.

These organizations work across a wide range of fields, including society and volunteering, women’s rights and equality, science and medicine, children and young people, immigration and integration, healthcare and support for older people, nature and sustainability, and culture.
